From a tender age, Marcos revealed a natural talent for art and creativity. His father, a former detective for the NJPD and his mother, a scholar in Forensic Science and Criminal Justice, both shared an affinity for art which eventually passed on to Marcos and his siblings. In the late hours of the evening a young and curious Marcos would often find his mother dabbling in mixed media arts & crafts, creating various home decorations and custom jewelry at their dinner table. In his down time, his father exercised his fierce illustrative capabilities and would often draft schematics for buildings and creative illustrations. With these influences, Marcos’ artistic inclination seemed almost destined.

His prowess spans various mediums, including 15 years of professional experience in graphic design and digital media development, but he finds his true passion in makeup artistry. Marcos has lent his skills to prestigious events such as the Mrs. America, Miss America, and Mrs. World pageants, NYFW, and has collaborated with world renowned photographer Nigel Barker from America’s Next Top Model, on various photoshoots with La Beaute Fatale Cosmetics as lead hair and makeup artist. He has also most recently assumed a new role as the Director of Hair and Makeup for Orlando International Fashion Week.

Symbolic for their free fluttering beauty and transformative nature, the imagery of the butterflies hold profound significance for Marcos. They are also a means by which he preserves and honors the legacy of his late mother Alma, as she adored butterflies. Each brushstroke and color choice embodies not just artistry, but the spirit of metamorphosis, the beauty in transformation, and they echo the passion he and his mother both shared for art.

Whether working on a face or digital media, Marcos consistently delivers high-quality work and exudes unwavering passion and dedication to his craft, leaving an indelible mark of excellence on every project he undertakes.
