From a tender age, Marcos revealed a natural inclination towards attention to detail, creative expression, and an overall adoration for the arts. Born to his late father, a former detective for the NJPD and his mother, a scholar in Forensic Science and Criminal Justice, both shared an affinity for art which eventually passed on to Marcos and his siblings. In the late hours of the evening a young and curious Marcos would often find his mother crafting at their dining table wether it was Christmas decorations, jewelry, or home decor. In his down time, his father exercised his fierce illustrative capabilities drafting architectural schematics and creative illustrations for entertainment. With these influences, Marcos’ artistic inclination seemed almost destined.

Marcos’ prowess spans various mediums, including 15 years of professional experience in graphic design and digital media development, but he finds his true passion in makeup artistry. He has lent his skills to prestigious events such as the Mrs. America, Miss America, and Mrs. World pageants, NYFW, and has collaborated with world renowned photographer Nigel Barker from America’s Next Top Model, on various photoshoots with La Beaute Fatale Cosmetics as lead hair and makeup artist. He formerly served as the Director of Hair and Makeup for Orlando International Fashion Week and currently serves as the Director of Hair and Makeup for Florida Fashion Shows operated by the Florida Fashion Federation.

Symbolic for their free fluttering beauty and transformative nature, the imagery of the butterflies hold profound significance. They are not only a source of inspiration but also a means by which he preserves and honors the legacy of his late mother Alma who adored butterflies. On each hand, you’ll find a ring specific to each parent now passed, and a butterfly in particular rests on his dominant hand. Each brushstroke and color choice embodies not just artistry, but the spirit of metamorphosis, the beauty in transformation, and they echo the passion he and his mother both shared for art.
